Planning a trip to Las Vegas and wondering if Encore is the right hotel for you? I’ve stayed here myself and wanted to break it all down, from the room experience to how it feels for a solo traveler like me. As someone who’s visited Vegas multiple times (sometimes solo, sometimes with friends), I know that choosing the right hotel can feel a little overwhelming, especially when you’re spending this much for a stay.
In this Encore Hotel Las Vegas Review, I’ll share exactly what stood out, what surprised me, and what you should know before you book: including safety, comfort, and whether Encore feels worth the splurge. Whether you’re planning your first Vegas vacation or looking for a luxe hotel that still feels approachable, let’s dive into my personal experience at Encore.
Encore vs. Wynn
Before my stay, I spent a lot of time debating between Encore and Wynn. They’re sister properties and often get lumped together. After “extensive research” here’s what I found out:
- Encore is 3 years newer than the Wynn
- Encore has slightly larger rooms
- Both are priced similarly
- Wynn’s casino is larger
- Wynn is the larger resort overall
- Encore’s pools are available for only Encore guests, Encore guests can also use Wynn pools
Wynn and Encore are connected to each other so visiting the shops, restaurants and casinos of both is a breeze.
For me, Encore struck the perfect balance of luxury and calm. I never felt lost or overwhelmed, and it was easy to get my bearings quickly. If you’re traveling solo or want a peaceful retreat after the energy of the Strip, Encore may be a better fit.
Room Review
When I walked into my room at Encore, I immediately felt like I could exhale. The space is beautifully designed, elegant without feeling stuffy, and surprisingly spacious.
The layout includes a separate sleeping area and cozy living space, divided by a large swivel TV that you can turn depending on where you want to relax. I loved having a little sitting area for morning coffee while looking out at the incredible views through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
The curtains are voice-activated (Alexa) and were such a fun (and helpful) touch, especially when you’re getting settled at night or waking up early to enjoy the sunrise over Las Vegas. Talk about feeling like you are on the Jetsons.
The bathroom was truly a highlight: a large marble space with double sinks, a separate tub and shower, and even a small built-in TV. For someone like me who appreciates a bit of pampering, it felt like a mini spa retreat after long days exploring the Strip.
One thing I appreciated was how quiet the room felt, even with all the action just outside. I never felt unsafe or overwhelmed. Encore’s size and layout made it easy to navigate, and the staff were always helpful if I had questions.
Overall, the Encore rooms deliver on both luxury and comfort, and they’re especially great if you want a space that feels like a calming retreat after a day of Vegas energy.
