    • What the heck is a “sojourn”?
Sojourns With Sue Logo

Solo Travel Over 50? Heck Yes.

Sue, wearing sunglasses and a sun hat, smiles in front of docked gondolas on a sunny day in Venice, with the city's historic buildings visible across the water.

Who is this mysterious Sue? and What the heck are “sojourns”?

Hi, I’m Sue. I used to backpack through Europe with a paper map and questionable judgment. Now I travel solo in my fifties with reading glasses, sensible shoes, and a firm no to hostels. I like charming hotels, walkable streets, and adventures that don’t require a recovery day.

Sojourns With Sue is for women over 50 who want practical tips, interesting itineraries, and honest hotel reviews designed for solo female travel at this stage of life. If you want to travel more and stress less, you’re in the right place.

If that sounds like your speed, come on in. Let’s plan something fun.
